Yes it's true! Just about one year after the Nexon America website was launched, the release of Mabinogi Closed beta has been announced on the official Nexon America site:

There isn't much info on the site yet but there is a countdown for it's release which is ticking down towards the end of January 2008! It's a great way to start the new years! This much anticipated game and has been #1 on our top F2P mmorpgs list since 2006 is now coming out!
It has also been confirmed that the release of Mabinogi for the Xbox 360 is under development and my speculations say that it may be released in 2008 when all the closed beta/open beta is over. But other than my speculations, there isn't anything official about the Xbox 360 release on the Nexon site yet.
