I am playing this game currently, and I find that the missions open to me are too hard for my character to actually win, so in turn I have to spend hours killing low exp creatures in order to level up.... Which I find time consuming and boring. When you do level up, you are given a low number of points in which to upgrade your player and then after doing so, it seems like it did nothing in the way of improving him/her.

The game in itself is quite a tasty treat, visually it is like playing an oldschool 2D sidescroller, however with that said, I find that the game is also quite unorganized. Missions are unbalanced, as mentioned above, you will spend most of your time just hitting the attack button and level upping to to what seem simple missions. I would play this more, but I do not feel like spending hours upon hours leveling up just to find that I need to do it some more to do this mission that I have to do.

It could be MUCH better, I just wish it was as this WAS right up my alley. Since it is FREE and fun to a point I will give it 6/10.

Okay sure, Maple Story may have a lot of hackers who sometimes ruin the funs for other players but thats just more the reason why the GM's would pull PVP out of Maplestory over and over again.

Think about it, how do hackers affect you if their high level and such?, they can't its just like a little child going around and telling everybody on how they got something that you want really badly.

The whole point of Maple Story might just be to endure all of the people hacking and resist to hack yourself as well as playing it as leisure. Not just to grind yourself to the max just to catch up to people who are playing unfairly. I would understand this point when I have been playing this game for a while but just to see my brother hack his way to level 9X+ infuriates me. But that just makes it more worthwhile when you grind to a higher level then can feel proud about it that you just might be the first to get to that level without hacking

People freaking complain about Flyff's level grind when Maplestory's is probably 10x freaking worse.

Not to mention the skills suck. The only decent ones are haste, and other skills that 'buff' your character. Which they don't even have that many of.

The monsters hardly look worth killing. The Crimson Balrog (Or whatever. Forgot its name), yeah. That thing is ugly as hell. Looks 'vicious'. But the rest of the monsters makes you just want to laugh at them. :/

Also read carefully if anybody is in contact or gained anything from a hacker that it banned they will get banned as well plus their entire guild. So no more worries about those really snobby people. They will be losers to their friends in Maplestory if they get caught and can never return to it because the GM's will also start posting a list of everybody that has been banned or was banned before so people can avoid any contact with them.

A few fan sites have also been collecting names of hackers in various maps, some that GM's cannot catch. Also a specific group of people have started hacking to catch the people that are floating up high in the sky as well as disturbing their activities.
