Joy Factor:

The Universal is a free, massively multiplayer online game in which you explore a virtual galaxy with worlds owned, run and populated by other players. Each world in the galaxy is different, with different themes and gameplay styles - from persistent economies to arcade-style blasters. Overall, The Universal is a fun, easy side game to play that keeps on going while your offline. I enjoy the game myself, and I hope that you do to.

Game Features include (provided from Wikipedia\'s website):The Universal depends highly upon its community, with almost every world in the game being operated by a player. Some servers are granted the right to be more readily accessible by players, with donations by the operator, and others are paid for with small monthly fees. In addition, players can contribute by creating 3D models, textures, and code for the built-in arcade. Also, you move around in this game by using the arrow keys in space and on worlds. There are a wide variety of vehicles which include hovering cars with jetpacks, biplanes which never stall, and hot-air balloons. Also is the interesting feature of hunger and thirst, which is implemented on many planets. To survive offline, you must buy a home and stock it with food and drink for your character to consume offline.

Editor's Pros/Cons:
Pros: Although still in development, The Universal has a lot of potential. The space feature is very fun because you can do a variety of things, from trading to upgrading your ship with missiles and becoming a pirate. TU also has an \"unofficial\" guild service in which players create a group and recruit members to it. Planets also are fun to play on because it can sport a variey of themes, from economy based to combat based

Cons: Because the game is still in development, TU still has many bugs, especially in space becuase it has been a recent edition. The graphics on the planets also look a lot older, and games like SilkRoad certainly outmatch it in graphics.
