In development for over three years now, Regnum Online is an ever-evolving 3D fantasy MMORPG featuring next generation graphics and support up to 1280x1024 resolution. During character creation, players must choose one of four races (a wood elf, a dwarf, a dark elf or a human) and one of four combat schools (warrior, archer, spy or spellcaster). In all, hundreds of character combinations are possible in this MMOG and characters can be equipped with gear such as swords, rings, armor and powerful, unique artifacts Weapon abilities and a large variety of skills can be improved through Regnum Online’s hundreds of available quests and PvE combat with the hundreds of creatures roaming the expansive land.

Regnum Online features “Invisible Dynamic Download Technology” which translates to no patches and no server downtime. Also, Regnum Online players can choose to adventure in a PvE setting within their kingdom’s safe borders or join a clan and bravely strike out against enemy kingdoms filled with PvP challenges for glory and honor. Unlike many MMOs, Regnum Online is free to play, it’s developers opting instead to incorporate premium content over time which will only be accessible to players who purchase the game. Regnum offers 3 realms to choose from. There are 9 fully customizable characters, hundreds of quests, the ability to capture forts and castles, expansive lands to explore, and glorious graphical environment. Regnum Online MMORPG wants to invite you to join our world and play for free. The only thing we require is that you fight for your realm.

Editor's Pros/Cons:
Pros: Many characters to choose from, no patches or server downtime due to the Invisible Dynamic Download Technology, growing spanish and engish community, large and expansive world to explore, can run on some older computers.

Cons: Small english speaking community at the moment, some may experience lag.

Simple but fun. Nice quests but movement speed over land is a pain. Learn Spanish or talk to yourself if you want to hear English. Be prepared for some weirdos too... had one guy literally follow me around for 15 minutes before I told him to you know what... Didn't say or do anything, just stalked me wherever I want standing right on top of my avatar.

Biggest appeal: resembles a nice graphical MUD. Good backstory. Endgame pvp.

Biggest drawback: Bugs/crashes (and yeah, they happen often enough to notice).

I find there are WAY more spawns than players so the observation there aren't enough mobs only holds true at the beginning levels early on. The game is not as bad as people would suggest. Try it for yourself and decide. I personally enjoy it.

The level design is absolutely fantastic and the music is really artistic (it's outstanding !). Great design, great music, too bad the gameply is a bit slowpased and there are mostly spanish speakers. I'm enjoying this game because it really calms me down after a hard day's work.

I downloaded this game a few months ago. The graphics are no where nears what you see on the few screenshots available of the game (unless they have updated them recently?). And the landscapes are barren. (ie no grass or textures, blocky) Character movement is unnatural and stiff. It looks like some university students project to me. I would rate it about a 4/10.
