Joy Factor:

We are glad to announce that Priston Tale, a full 3D mmorpg, has just converted their service from pay-to-play to free-to-play on May 17th and will be having an item mall system available this June 2007. This seems to be a growing trend in the gaming business. The world of Priston is composed of subtle relations of 2 tribes: the one is ‘Morion’ being highly dependent on magic and soul & the other is ‘Tempskron’ being highly dependent on power and technology. There are basically active Exchanges & positive relations between them. In the meanwhile, several portents & airs started occurring in almost all parts of the world. It was so weird that they began to investigate it, and came to discover a prophecy of the ancients. They realized that the content of the prophecy was composed of suggestions & predictions, and almost coincided with the portents & airs now under way. However, a real and bigger problem was a predi-cation in the last part of the prophecy that a new evil species would appear. As both tribes suspected these facts and considered a counter-plan, in the meanwhile, many kinds of big problems like conflicts & collapses occurred and the world of Priston came to be falling in a state of chaos.
Unlike many other existing online games, this game is considered a full 3D mmorpg where the gamer can experience a more realistic & multi-dimensional world. This game is also action based with stunning visual and sound effects in real-time combat. It is quite easy to learn how to play and does not require a big game guide to start playing. When you first play this game you will familiarize yourself with the basic HP, SP, exp bar, chatting window, etc. that other games have. Some of the features include class change system, skill/spell system, combat system, item system, and clan/party system. There are currently 8 different classes to choose from: Fighter, Pikeman, Archer, Mechanician, Knight, Magician, Atalanta, and Priestess. With each class there are job trees of 4 levels to keep you reaching for more.

Editor's Pros/Cons:
Pros: Although this game has been out for awhile now, the graphics are comparable to Rose Online. There are different modes such as seige war (blessed castle) and survive or die (Bellatra).
Cons: Priston Tale 2 is coming out soon. The community is mostly made up of players and admins do not really give any technical/game support. Hacking tools seem to be a problem for this game.
